Easy Cherry Crisp
A warm, rustic dessert that’s bursting with cherry flavour, perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
Ingredients:
6 cups pitted sweet cherries
⅓ cup sugar
1 tbsp cornflour
1 tsp vanilla extract
Topping:
½ cup rolled oats
¼ cup flour
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ tsp cinnamon
¼ cup melted butter
Method:
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Toss cherries with sugar, cornflour and vanilla.
Mix oats, flour, sugar, cinnamon and butter until crumbly.
Spread cherries in a greased dish, sprinkle topping over.
Bake for 30–35 minutes or until golden and bubbling.
Serve warm with ice cream or cream and enjoy a little taste of cherry heaven from the orchard! 🍒
