Easy Cherry Crisp

A warm, rustic dessert that’s bursting with cherry flavour, perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups pitted sweet cherries

  • ⅓ cup sugar

  • 1 tbsp cornflour

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Topping:

  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • ¼ cup flour

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

  • ¼ cup melted butter

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. Toss cherries with sugar, cornflour and vanilla.

  3. Mix oats, flour, sugar, cinnamon and butter until crumbly.

  4. Spread cherries in a greased dish, sprinkle topping over.

  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until golden and bubbling.

Serve warm with ice cream or cream  and enjoy a little taste of cherry heaven from the orchard! 🍒
